Lin Chang

Dr. Chang is the Boya Young Investigator and assistant professor at Peking University. His research focus is on integrated photonics and includes the investigation of novel phenomena, as well as the development of novel devices and applications. Dr. Chang pioneered critical building blocks in the fields of semiconductor lasers, microcombs and Silicon Photonics. He developed many advanced integration technologies for integrated photonics, which nowadays is widely recognized as the most promising path to the next generation of integrated photonics.

He has published more than 30 papers as the first/corresponding author in top journals such as Nature (3), Science (1), Nature Photonics (2), Nature Communications (5), PRX Quantum, Optica, including 5 ESI high citation papers. In recognition of his contribution, he was invited by Nature Photonics to publish the review of integrated optical frequency technologies, and coauthored two important roadmaps for optical signal processing and integrated quantum photonics with many authorities.
