The review was published in Nature Photonics under the title “Integrated optical frequency comb technologies”. This review comprehensively summarized and analyzed different schemes for generating optical frequency combs (OFCs) in integrated optics, and summarized the research progress of OFCs in photonic integrated circuits (PICs). In the end, this review presented a roadmap for bringing the advanced OFC from the system laboratory to life.
