The research group cooperated with Rochester and Caltech to complete the work of Pockels Laser. By introducing the outer cavity of thin film lithium niobate into the on-chip laser, we have realized the narrow-linewidth laser with a frequency modulation speed of 10^18 Hz/s and the first integrated laser communicating with visible light simultaneously. This scheme is expected to be used to complete the chip transformation of FMCW and quantum information system light sources in the future. It is a great honor to work with Dr. Lin Qiang and Dr. Li Mingxiao to complete this work, which shows the great potential of the fusion of group 35 compound semiconductors and lithium niobate in integrated optics.
