The research and industrial application proposition of Intelligent Computing aims at the world's technological frontier and national strategic needs. It studies multi-level computing problems in the field of computing, such as devices and chips, advanced computers, software and systems, platforms and applications, to provide advanced, powerful and intelligent computing chips, capabilities and platforms for the scientific and technological innovation systems and industrial development system of Digital China. To this end, DeepTech launched the "2022 China Intelligent Computing Science and Technology Innovators" selection. Assistant Professor Lin Chang was selected for his research contributions to photonic chips. He introduced light into computing hardware for information processing through the development of new chip manufacturing processes, thereby achieving faster, lower-cost, and lower-power computing solutions.
